Multifloral honey is a natural concentrate of the nectar from plant blossoms and flowers (typically found in meadows, pastures, fields, or gardens), the vast majority of which are considered medicinal plants.
It is easy to digest, thanks to its higher content of simple sugars – glucose and fructose. The honey contains the pollen grains of various plants, which increases its content of important natural substances with a stimulant effect, plant hormones, essential oils, aromatic compounds, etc.
The name of this type of honey does not mean that it is mixed from different types of honey (such as acacia, rapeseed, etc.) but rather that this honey is not created from the nectar of one type of plant, like acacia honey, but is created from the nectar of different plants, i.e. it is mixed from different types of nectar which was brought into the hive by the bees. It is mixed by the bees themselves.
This honey comes from the mountain, as well as valley meadows from all around Slovakia. It contains the nectar from the blossoms of different plants and fruit-bearing trees.
